Dr Niamh Malone created Liverpool Hope Theatre Company in 2012. Her objective was to work with recent graduates of Liverpool Hope University on a variety of community based applied theatre projects. The theatre company has a very clear social justice agenda and uses the arts as a form of intervention to help create social change. The company has delivered bespoke drama workshops in schools, nursing homes, prisons, community centres and street performances.
